TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing Barca Events and supporting our small business.

We love to be transparent with our customers and therefore to make it easier we have listed down the terms and conditions of hire set out as an agreement between Barca Events and you our client.

1. The minimum hire amount is $50 on any of our items.

2. Delivery and pick up is free of charge within a 15km radius of Lynbrook - anything between 15km+ - 40km from Lynbrook will incur a $25 surcharge for this service. For areas further out please contact us and we can discuss further.

3. A 30% deposit of the total hire amount is required to confirm your booking and must be paid in order to secure your date of hire. We only hold your booking request for a maximum of 48 hours without a deposit. Any cancellations made after payment has been made will forfeit all deposits paid. A full refund will be paid to you our client if for any unforeseen circumstance is to occur on our behalf.

4. Full payment and a mandatory $100 refundable bond must also be paid with all hire items. This is required at least 4 business days prior to your event. Alternatively you may choose to pay Cash on delivery. Other payment methods are EFT (Bank Transfer or Paypal) for pre-payments.

5. A valid drivers license with current address must be presented upon dropping off hired goods. We are required to obtain a copy for legal purposes until the goods are returned in a satisfactory condition.

6. Customer must provide their location, time and date of hire and pick up upon booking. Any change of location must be advised at least 5 days prior to the event date. Change of date may not always be able to be accommodated unfortunately. 

7. As a condition of hire you must advise us of the conditions of the venue or location in which the goods will be delivered to. For instance stairs, manor of where goods will need to be set up and parking availability on site.

8. All equipment from DIY hire must be returned in its original condition & packaging if applicable. Glassware must be returned cleaned & dry. Wax must be cleaned off. Failure to do so will incur in potential loss of bond. Extra charges may apply if bond amount is not sufficient to cover replacement or repair cost.

9. All items must be returned by due date as specified in the agreement.

10. Late return fee will be deducted from bond ($50 of hire order charged per day not returned).

11. Barca Events is not liable for any loss or damages arising out of the overloading, exceeding rated capacity, misuse, or abuse of the equipment by the customer.

12. By confirming a quote via email, signature or deposit payment, the customer acknowledges & agrees to these terms & conditions outlined.
